The Football Association, also known as simply The FA, is the governing body of football in England and the Crown Dependencies of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. We have been proud to work with the Ethics and Sports Equity team who play a very important role in making sure that football is free of any prejudices regarding age, gender, and ethnicity. The goal is to help make football, the "people's game," into something that everyone can participate in and truly enjoy. Our Success Intelligence team-building event has been particularly well received.

The BBC is the world’s largest broadcaster. It reaches more than 200 countries and is available to more than 274 million households. It’s radio services broadcast on a wide variety of wavelengths, making them available to many regions of the world. It broadcasts news – by radio and internet – in over 30 languages. One of our first ever S.I. team building events was for the BBC. In the mid-1990s we worked closely with the Personnel Department and HR Department at Pebble Mill, Birmingham.

We worked with Sainsbury’s to enable their top talent to build the confidence and capability to successfully manage change. Our program was called ‘Shift Happens’ and encouraged participants to recognise that vision must lead change so it’s not change for change’s sake, how to rise to the challenge of change and the challenge to change, and creating belief in new possibilities.

Scottish Borders
The Scottish Borders Council provides a wide range of public services paid for from a combination of national grant-aid from HM Treasury and Council Tax payments. We have run an extensive S.I. Coaching Program for Leaders of Learning in the Scottish Executive Education Department. The main aim of the program was to build leadership capability through coaching and the development of an integrated workplace coaching culture. This was to be achieved through the application of coaching in relation to staff development and performance; developing coaching skills among those who support Newly Qualified Teachers, strengthening peer support for mentors, building capacity and reflection in Professional Review and Development (PRD) processes and through making coaching more widely available; building partnership with neighbouring authorities, sharing learning and working on joint projects.

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea are graded within the top 5 local authorities in the UK. We were invited to give a keynote presentation at their senior management conference which was an opportunity for senior leaders to think about how they will sustain success in an innovative way. We were then asked back to present at their Family and Children’s Services Leadership Conference on the relationship between success and happiness.
